Michael McManus
Michael's sixth play, Party Games, is scheduled for a national tour in spring 2023, after an initial run at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford.
As an actor he has played the Marquess de Lancy in the 150th-anniversary revival of Mrs. Inchbold’s Animal Magnetism at Knebworth House. He created the roles of Sir James Mitchell in Direct Action by Githa Sowerby (directed online by Graham Watts) and Sir Donald Wolfit in The Trial of Donald Wolfit (White Bear Theatre).
Also took various roles in the Hog in the Limelight lockdown series, including Joe Newman in To Walk With Kings, The Reverend Cyril Starr in Glenn Chandler’s Lord Dismiss Us and Margaret Thatcher’s father, Alderman Roberts (plus Tony Benn, Roy Jenkins et al.). in Maggie and Ted.
